Our Lady of Carmel Association
From 1996, we formed an Association under the patronage of Our Lady of Carmel. This strengthened the already existing links between our monasteries and allowed us to give more effective mutual assistance in differente areas, a mutual help indispensable in our often not easy situations, particularly in the area of formation.
Yet each community still watches over its autonomy, its character and its own
mission. Since in this aspect, perhaps more than others, each Carmel is, with
regards to its history, its growing out of a precise place, its human and spiritual
circumstances, very distinctive and, one could say, absolutely "unique".
It could also be said, at the same time, that each one is the bearer of its own "mystery" and a mission flowing from it...
